ECN General Meeting
Under the ECN Constitution all key policy decisions are taken at ECN General meetings open to all ECN member groups and on the basis of 'one group, one vote', so a small neighbourhood group has an equal voice with a large voluntary organisation.
ECN General Meetings are held 4 - 5 times per year, at different times and rotated around the borough.
ECN General Meetings also have regular question and answer sessions with key policy-makers. For example, at recent meetings we have held question and answer sessions with the LBE Deputy Leader, LBE Head of Grants and Chair of the Ealing GP Consortium.
Members can suggest future topics at ECN General Meetings or raise urgent items on the day. If there is an issue you would like ECN members to discuss please e-mail the ECN Chair, Lainya Offside-Keivani firstname.lastname@example.org
In order that no groups are excluded, ECN will pay reasonable travel expenses plus childcare, disabled travel or dependent care costs for VCS reps attending ECN meetings or events. For details of the ECN expenses policy contact us.

ECN Executive Board
The ECN Executive Board meets in between General ECN meetings to consider urgent issues and also complex issues where it draws up recommendations to be discussed and voted on at ECN General Meetings. The Executive Board has an equal mix of representatives nominated by local VCS forums and individual VCS group reps elected by the whole ECN membership (50% of who must come from small groups).
Individual group reps and the ECN Chair serve on the ECN Executive Board for one year and elections for a new round of reps will be held annually.
