STATEMENT FROM EALING COUNCIL
Ealing Council understands that voluntary and community sector organisations will be facing additional demands due to the current covid-19 outbreak, particularly in terms of trying to balance the challenge of supporting residents (particularly the vulnerable) whilst also minimising the risks to services users, staff and volunteers. We want to express our gratitude for all your hard work at this difficult time. For those organisations that are part grant funded by the council, we recognise that you may need to change your work programme such as suspending some activities or carrying out services in different ways. We would like to reassure you that the council fully supports you in this.
Along with many other funders in London, we have
signed up to the covid-19 statement prepared by London Funders in
relation to grant funding. You may also find
information on the Small Charities Commission and NCVO websites useful at this time. More information about the current situation is
available on the council
website. This webpage will be updated regularly with the latest government
and Public Health guidance and advice as it becomes available.
